Nicole Gakidis
Nicole Gakidis has served as a leader in the New England public relations and communications industry for nearly two decades. She is a marketing and communications strategist who is
well respected for her management acumen, strategic and critical thinking, and relationship-building abilities. More recently, she has specialized in executive search, fundraising
audits/analyses, and board development. She offers clients the added experience of having built organizational infrastructure with an eye toward advancing mission, and working closely
with senior executives in the area of change management and organizational development.
Nicole has a successful track record in healthcare, education, arts/cultural, and social justice nonprofits. Her highly successful executive search work has produced top-notch candidates for many notable Boston
area institutions, including Partners Home Care/Partners HealthCare, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Northeastern University, Children’s Hospital Boston, Physicians for Human Rights, Medical and Scientific Community
Organization (MASCO) Inc., Tower School, American Textile History Museum, and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua, NH. Previously, Nicole served as the Vice President of Corporate Communications at Beth Israel
Deaconess Medical Center/CareGroup in Boston, where she helped expedite the integration of distinct cultures brought about by mergers and acquisitions. Nicole is an active volunteer leader serving on the Boards of
the Medical Area Federal Credit Union and Harborlight Montessori School, where she chairs committees on business and board development and fundraising, respectively. She is President of the Friends of the Boxford
(MA) Town Libraries and on the House Committee of the Algonquin Club of Boston. She is an active member of the New England Society of Healthcare Communications and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
She holds a B.S. in Mass Communications and Journalism from Emerson College, and is a graduate of the Walnut Hill School of the Arts.
